Therapy Services & Specialties

Session Vibes

I bring a sense of calm, a bit of humor (when given the green light), and a lot of heart to our sessions.

I meet my clients where they are and recognize that we don’t show up to every session the same. Maybe one week we talk about whatever you’re hyper-fixated on or vent about that one coworker that never fails to grind your gears, and the next we dive into the trenches together. I honor your capacity and welcome you to show up as you are.

That also means this is a space where you can speak like a real person. Swearing is acceptable in my sessions and I want you to be comfortable, unfiltered, and authentically you.

Framework & Modalities

I think of therapy like a lighthouse: I’m not here to steer your ship, but I am here to provide a steady light so you can navigate whatever season or stormy weather you’re currently in.

Because you are a whole person and not a checklist of diagnostic symptoms, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I pull from many different methods, including I practice Person-Centered Therapy and pull from evidence-based methods like CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to make sure our work genuinely fits your life.

I truly believe that the things we do for fun are often the things that save us. I have a special interest in how our hobbies—whether it’s the arts, video games, or tabletop RPGs like D&D—play a vital role in our healing.

Sometimes, talking about your D&D character or a creative project is the most honest way to talk about yourself. Whether we’re using a gaming metaphor to explain a boundary or discussing the narrative of your favorite story, your personal interests are always welcome in this space.
